Jurisdiction: Long BeachCode Version: April 2026

The City of Long Beach permits alcoholic beverage manufacturing (ABM), including breweries and micro-distilleries, by right in nearly all commercial and industrial zoning districts, provided they include an accessory tasting room in commercial areas. These facilities are generally restricted from locating within 500 feet of a residential property line or a school and are limited to a production capacity of 15,000 barrels per year when located within a commercial district [Section 21.45.114].
