Institutional Thresholds

While most civic uses in the D(A): Duplex District do not require parking, a church that exceeds 20,000 square feet in floor area must provide one space for every four fixed seats (where 18 inches of a bench or pew is considered one seat) in the sanctuary or auditorium [Table 1.0.1]. If the church is located within a Modified Delta (MD-1) Overlay, different standards may apply [Sec. 51A-4.204(4)(C)].
