Compliance and Exceptions
The Concord Development Code notes that for nonresidential developments in the Regional Commercial (RC) district, setbacks are generally established in compliance with the requirements specified by a permit [Section 18.40.030]. If a permit is not required, or if the permit does not regulate a development feature that is regulated by an abutting district, the regulations of the abutting district shall apply to each adjacent portion of the property [Section 18.40.030].
Furthermore, reduced setbacks may be allowed in the Regional Commercial (RC) district subject to the approval of a use permit [Section 18.40.030]. All setbacks are measured from the property line to the face of the building or to the structure [Section 18.40.030].
