Dimensional Standards for the Regional Commercial (RC) District

General Requirements and Exceptions

  • Front Setbacks: Reduced front setbacks may be allowed in the Regional Commercial (RC) district subject to the approval of a use permit [Section 18.40.030].
  • Building Height: While the maximum nonresidential building height is 50 feet, additional height may be permitted in the Regional Commercial (RC) district if authorized by a use permit [Section 18.40.030].
  • Measurement: Setbacks are measured from the property line or the back of the sidewalk, whichever is less, to the face of the building or structure [Section 18.40.030].

Landscaping and Performance Standards

Landscaping within the Regional Commercial (RC) district must comply with the general requirements for Office and Commercial districts. A minimum of 20 percent of the site area in the Regional Commercial (RC) district must be landscaped [Section 18.165.050].
