Temporary and Other Sign Standards
- Real Estate Signs: In single-family residential districts, one sign is limited to 4 square feet. In multifamily districts, one sign is limited to 12 square feet. In commercial, office, industrial, and mixed-use districts, one sign is limited to 32 square feet [Section 18.180.070].
- Construction Signs: In single-family or low-density residential districts, construction signs are limited to 12 square feet. In all other districts, construction signs are limited to 40 square feet [Section 18.180.070].
- Directional Signs (On-Site): Each on-site directional sign is limited to a maximum area of 6 square feet [Section 18.180.130].
- Changeable Copy Signs: The maximum area for a changeable copy sign is 20 square feet, unless otherwise approved by the review authority for a theater [Section 18.180.130].
- Community Interest Group Signs: These signs are limited to a maximum of 32 square feet and a maximum dimension of 10 feet [Section 18.180.130].
- Window Signs: Paper or printed signs are limited to 10 percent of the total window area and 50 percent of any single window pane [Section 18.180.140].
