Signage and Equipment

Home occupations in the City of Charlotte are permitted one non-illuminated accessory use sign. This sign must be constructed as a wall sign and is limited to a maximum area of four square feet [Section 22.6.B]. Small electronic repair, such as computer maintenance, is generally allowed, but any activity requiring the disposal of biohazardous material or the dispensing of medication from the dwelling is prohibited [Section 15.6.H.6, 15.6.H.13].
