Parking Lot Design and Dimensions

The City of Bentonville mandates specific engineering and design standards for any off-street parking constructed in the R-3 Medium-High Density Multifamily Residential district.

Standard Stall Dimensions

Surfacing and Maintenance

Any off-street parking area in the R-3 Medium-High Density Multifamily Residential district must be paved with a sealed surface pavement to prevent dust. Low-impact development (LID) designs may be used if approved by the City of Bentonville Engineer [Sec 501.07].

Location and Setback Restrictions

In the R-3 Medium-High Density Multifamily Residential district, off-street parking must be located on the same lot as the structure it serves, or within 200 feet of the building [Sec 501.03(a), Sec 501.04].
